Our History
Our Vision
We have a vision to preserve all Australian hardwood species and to limit our impact on the environment. We do not support or condone the bulk harvesting of trees that create an ecosystem for a variety of Australian flora and fauna.
For this reason, 100% of our timber slabs are sustainably sourced from local arborists who remove trees from approved urban environments, mostly due to safety concerns or removing trees that have fallen.
Instead of the trees being cut up and put through a woodchipper for landfill, we believe we give the tree a second chance at life through the use of live edge timber slabs that we handcraft into unique pieces of custom furniture. The natural beauty of a live edge slab tells the legacy of each tree and reminds us that we are doing our part for the environment.

Our Timber Mill
After struggling to find quality kiln-dried timber slabs in the local area, we started our timber mill in 2017 as a means of ensuring the quality of the timber slabs we use in our own custom furniture pieces.
Our timber mill stocks 1000’s of slabs all at different stages of the drying process. Once kiln-dried, sterlized and graded, our slabs are transported to our workshop in Tuggerah, NSW for use in our own custom furniture and for sale to the general public for all kinds of DIY use.
We have a large range of slabs available from chopping board to dining/conference table sized pieces in a variety of species such as: blackbutt, spotted gum, camphor laurel, redgum, silky oak, grey gum, stringybark, lemon scented gum, tallowood and bluegum to name a few.
